Sheikha Hanadi Al Thani started her career as a lecturing assistant in the Economics Department of Qatar University. She then continued her professional career to found Amwal and AlWaab City in 1998 and 2005 respectively.
Sheikha Hanadi is a fervent supporter of community activities. In addition to chairing the board of INJAZ Qatar and sitting on the board of Injaz Al-Arab, she serves as trustee on the board of the Arab Women’s International Forum and the College of Business and Economics at Qatar University, Executive Committee Member in Silatech. She is also a board member at Dana Gas and Special Advisor to Standard Chartered Bank and a member of the Bank’s Gulf Advisory Council.
Sheikha Hanadi holds an Executive-MBA from London Business School, a MA degree in Economics from the University of London, and a BA in Economics from Qatar University.
